image inspiration

This morning, at the day care, has been like a mad dash with the changing of the months over the weekend.  I started at five after six this morning ripping down pumpkins and Halloween lights and brainstorming about November and Thanksgiving and what to put out now.  I do love the creative side to my job that pushes me into thinking creatively first thing in the morning.  Our turkey is on the bulletin board, November is up on the wall where October was taken down, our Thankful Tree will be on the wall shortly and Thanksgiving garland will be up by the end of the day... hopefully.  I have looked up and printed templates for pilgrim hats, acorns, Indian corn and turkeys.  What a morning!

I really liked the idea of cutting out solid feathers then adding the notches at different spots all around.

This is where I spotted the acorns.  These look bought.... mine will be out of cereal boxes.

I really like this idea for "Gratitude Garland" and the free printable.
Some people make it so easy for the rest of us!

Why not make something fun on this second day of November to bring thankful thoughts into your home or office the entire month long!

Here is the beginning of our Thankful Tree last year.
